Thanks. I am well aware of the theoretical benefits of each platform, thanks to Tim's excellent article on the subject. What I would like to see is a comparison of the actual (i.e., real world) benefits of each platform under a variety of different equipment scenarios.

Thanks Tim. When you review these products, I'll be interested to see whether there are circumstances where a traditional design with one 5GHz radio at full power is preferable to these XStream designs with two 5Ghz radios at lower power.

Are you upgrading using a wired connection to the router? You should never upgrade over wireless.

There appears to be a bug with the wireless MAC filters in 3.0.0.4.246.20. Try adding several MAC filters with computer names to a 2.4GHz network. In two instances, between router resets, I experienced a glitch whereby the router refused to accept/display new wireless MAC filter entries. I...
