I had the same issue on RT-AX86U. Authentication method was set to HTTP, changed it to default now it works over https.

Even with VPN connected using WireGuard laptop uses AdGuard, is that correct? So their is no other way to force laptop to use VPN provider DNS without one of the three methods mentioned by @SomeWhereOverTheRainBow If I connect VPN by downloading the provider software then all DNS traffic seems...

Trying to set up WireGuard using SurfShark config file. If I have default AllowedIPs = 0.0.0.0/0 as provided in the config file, everything works but I can't access local LAN. What do I need to put their to be able to access local LAN devices while connected to VPN & VPN Provider DNS servers...

If each query log and filter load feature change requires invoking more memory then how come these load straightaway, All queries, filtered, processed & blocked? These have lot more entries than say Blocked malware/phishing which only has 6 compared to 15000 + on Blocked & 97000+ on DNS queries...

Query log was super slow for anything other than All queries, filtered, processed & blocked on RT-AC68U, little better on RT-AX86X but still slow, why is that? Blocked adult websites or blocked malware/phishing from home page takes considerable time to load. Same with filter drop down on Query...
