    RT-AC86U dropping 2.4Ghz devices

    I also experience an issue where my AC86u has dropped my Win 10 laptop from the 2.4 Ghz band. I have the 5 Ghz disabled, and the laptop stays aprox 6 ft from the router 24/7 just running BOINC. It's rare, but has happened probably 3 times in the past two months. I keep hoping that 'dirty'...

    [Release 380/Legacy] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.70 is now available

    This is very true, I also question the pace of releases on updates from Asus on the two models not making it to NG, it feels like Asus is already love lost for the N66, AC66, and even the AC56 it looks like. 380.70 is working fine on my AC66, though I do nothing unusual with it.

    I'm looking forward to getting this on my remaining N66W and AC66W, oddly enough both are alive and well (we'll see for how long) wheres my N16 died shortly after it was dropped from Merlin's official fork. These two are already on Loan duty to my parents or Access Point mode off a newer model...
