[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Hey guys I am running older builds of this firmware on my AC66U and AC68U. Both working flawlessly! I am wondering if it is safe for me to upgrade directly to the newest version, either V19E3 or V20B7. My AC66U and AC68U both run 374.43_2-16E1j9527 Is there anything I might want to know before...

    Overclock RT-AC87R

I see no reason why the AC87U shouldn't be able to handle this. RMerlin confirmed that it worked on his AC87U and it's a small overclock.

AC68. Best option right now? overclock. channel undlock. 374.XX firmware?

Yea I run with the same commands. Additonally, you can also overclock it with these commands: 1200,800 seems to be a stable overclock for everyone. The first one is stock: nvram set clkfreq=800,666 nvram set clkfreq=1000,800 nvram set clkfreq=1200,800 nvram set clkfreq=1300,800

    Overclock RT-AC87R

I don't have the device yet so I cannot test it. But I believe that it can run faster than the AC68U since the AC68U has the Broadcom BCM4708 and the AC87U has the Broadcom BCM4709. Since the AC87U runs at 1000 MHz stock and the AC68U runs at 800 MHz at stock, you'd think that AC87U also uses...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 376.44 Beta 1 is out

Does anyone know how I can change "EU" to "SG" in the following (CFE): admin@RT-AC66U:/tmp/home/root# cat /dev/mtd0ro | grep regulation_domain regulation_domain=EU regulation_domain_5G=EU I'm using an AC66U. Thanks in advance!

    Overclock AC68U

Are you sure it's downclocking? Please do the these commands via telnet/SSH and post the results here along with the current temp of your AC68U: nvram get clkfreq openssl speed aes-128-cbc

    Overclock AC68U

But you can try to do this command with and without overclock too see how fast it is and if my above statement is true: openssl speed aes-128-cbc

    Overclock AC68U

I don't think your router runs at full speed if it's 95°C warm because it downclocks itself, so even if you overclock it it will not run at those speeds. How come it is so hot? Is it like 35°C in your room? Does it have 'room to breathe' ?

    Overclock AC68U

Had my first crash at 1400,800..... going to go back to 1300,800 and keep it there. It was stable for almost an entire day.
