Hi Eric, currently own AC68U, running on 380.70 build in AP mode w/basic setup for 2.4/5 operating behind a DMZ interface on my main firewall. Is it recommended to still move up to 384 build? Does AiMesh work in AP mode, will I gain any benefits from the newer wireless drivers for 2.4/5...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.6 is now available

I don't follow your logic, those like me using it in AP mode may decide to use it in router mode at some point. In terms of stock providing better results, show the data, otherwise your statement is false.

    [Preview 380/legacy] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.70 early test builds

Understood and agree. I should have been clear on performance question, in general, since much has changed from a code specific, not related to WiFi drivers. On me, on how I phrased the question. Thanks

    [Preview 380/legacy] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.70 early test builds

Thanks, can you comment if there has been wifi driver changes between 380x to 382/384 for AC68U? Trying to determine if performance will be better on the new branch.
