    They are indeed 2 different generations. The one marked iPad is a 2018 9.7" iPad which is sitting next to my pixel 3 about 1 metre away. The one marked Wafas-iPad is a iPad mini 4, this one is actually 1 floor below me. The results on Wafas-iPad are around 60-70 Mbps, so slightly worse.

    RT-N66U Time to update router? Advice/Feedback

    There was a small change in my plans. Luckily I was gifted a bestbuy gift card on Wednesday afternoon for $80 so I decided to jump and get the RT-AC86U instead. I set it up yesterday morning, took only a couple minutes to setup, and it has been working like a charm! Thanks again!
