The way this is defined, it runs at minute 11 and 33, not every 33 minutes.
If you want every 33 minutes, it should be:
cru a xxx-remove-dcd-crash "*/33 * * * * /bin/sed -i '/kernel: dcd/,/kernel: x1 /d' /tmp/syslog.log"
Been working with this script with this weekend. Not sure what the intended logic is with the cron option, but if it is used, it does not create the cron job unless there is already an existing ChkWAN cron job in the cron table.
Once you manually create a ChkWAN cron job, then the code will...
What is the purpose of the Network Monitoring check? Is it just for displaying a message on the Network Map page that the Internet is down or does it actually restart some service on the router if it finds that there is no Internet connection?
Luckily I didnt loose all connectivity to the router. I was ablle to SSH in and uninstall DNScrypt. Then reinstall Skynet. So things seem to be fine with Skynet again.

Thank you @Martineau !
With a few tweaks for my setup, this is working great! One question ... is there any benefit to saving and restoring the Gmail_smtp ipset list versus just rebuilding it upon rebooting the router with a simple script for that purpose?
Thanks again for your help
Problem is that google changes its smtp server ip addresses regularly. Yesterday, when I did a nslookup on smtp.gmail.com it resolved to 173.194.197.108. I used that and things worked great. Then today, the cameras stopped sending mail. Checked nslookup on smtp.gmail.com today and it...
I would like to do the same for smtp.gmail.com. Unfortunately, the IP address associated with smtp.gmail.com changes reguarly, so this method is only effective for a day or so. Any ideas on how to allow ongoing access for smtp.gmail.com servers to my ip cameras blocked by this script?
Thanks for the reply. a couple updates ...
I should have mentioned that I can access each of the download sites with no problem. I also tried checking for updates for ab-solution (CU) and that failed as well even though I can browse to the absolution website with no problem.
I decided to...
Tried to change the blocking file tonight. Originally configured with built-in choice 2. Wanted to try built-in choice 1. The new host files are failing to download. Tried running the update manually as well with same result ... any suggestions?
