Just saw an automated test run and it came back normal. Seems the reboot worked!

spdMerlin spdMerlin - Automated speedtests with graphs

I rebooted my router and ran a test by clicking in the web UI. This is what the log spat out: Apr 20 03:03:17 spdMerlin: Speedtest results - Download: 113.56 Mbit/s - Upload: 15.53 Mbit/s In my case, this is to be considered as normal numbers. I guess we'll wait for the cron to fire off and...

spdMerlin spdMerlin - Automated speedtests with graphs

I doubt the server is at fault since I've been able to run several successful tests manually without issue. The problem only happens when the speedtest is called by cron. Funnily enough, it was working fine before installing the connmon script, but I think an update came out for this one around...

spdMerlin spdMerlin - Automated speedtests with graphs

The problem only happens when: -the cron fires -the webpage button is pressed Using option 2 in the menu (preferred server) brings back normal tests as I expect.

For testing, should I just let the cron fire off?

Okay, so decided to move my issue here. Even after leaving the script to run on its own via cron, I'm still getting some weird results. Here's the image link in case it doesn't load: https://imgur.com/a/P5yUAxf

connmon connmon - Internet connection monitoring

Update: Uninstalled connmon and still the same problem. Guess this is a spdmerlin issue.

connmon connmon - Internet connection monitoring

1GB Just did some testing on a new install of the script. Running a test directly from the script (option 1) outputs proper results. However hitting the button in the GUI outputs this in the logs: Apr 19 17:42:27 spdMerlin: Speedtest results - Download: 0.00 Mbit/s - Upload: 0.04 Mbit/s

connmon connmon - Internet connection monitoring

Ran into similar problems again with the speedtest script, after several hours of running it. Something is really wrong. For some reason, the speedtest results are insanely low. Download was sitting at 11 when it's normally 100+. Upload was acting screwy as well, giving off the same behaviour...
