Thanks for the fast answer. Enclosed another syslog version from a reboot that I just did, now complete but excluding some private data and the VPN server data. If I read the log correctly, then vnstat is when Entware & Diversion are started, but where there is no NTP sync yet. Then later on...
Hi everybody,
since some time, I have the issue that after a reboot vnStat is not starting, as it seems NTP sync is not fast enough for vnStat. Other scripts don't seem to have that issue and/or are waiting for NTP sync. What I see in the log after a reboot is:
Currently I am running my AX86U...
For me it is sort of continous now on every reboot, so I have turned off the reboot scheduler now. However, up to now I did not find anything in the forums why this happens and also a factory reset has not changed it.
Just updated the entware files and had also the same issue with unbound, even with stopping unbound first and only then updating entware. However, an update of unbound solved the issue.
What is however a problem I currently have is that vnstat does not start again after reboots and I always...
Thanks for the hint. I gave that a try now but immediately had the dnsmasq crash again, after uninstalling YazDHCP and manually adding the DHCP assignments it is fine for me. Guess I will just leave it without YazDHCP, but maybe others have the same issue.
I tried AiCloud a bit as I would really like to have some easy solution for sharing files temporarily, like an external dropbox, without having to expose any internal systems or giving VPN access to other people. However, AiCloud also does not really work as intended for that and other people...
Found this old thread as I was experiencing this issue on my AX88U-Pro with 3004.388.8_2 (or now 8_3). For me the issue was also inconvenient, as directly after a reboot dnsmasq crashed and then also uiscribe, unbound webui and dnvnstat would be gone. If I reinstalled these addons afterwards and...
for me the unbound addblock actually works quite fine, I do not see any adds as long as I access youtube via the browser and the router, only for the youtube app it does not work
The logs above have been with flow cache off in the FlexQoS settings, so I guess then it should not be disabled. Here the logs again with the "auto" setting, where it seems to disable flow cache during startup.
Here the output, currently only with Flow Cache "off". In between the 2 posts I played a bit with Cake instead of FlexQoS, but it seems that I am not able to get proper values on downloads, no matter what settings I choose.
Sorry for the late reply, but I have not been home for some days. Updated now to 1.4.1 and now I can delete all the iptable rules and now "auto" disables flow cache, probably only because it was previously on.
Though I have to say, I do not fully understand the reason here. When there are no...
That is what I did. Just wanted to mention, that the "auto" option does not seem to have any purpose, for me it is either flow cache and no iptable rules or the other way round.
