google search suggests that replacing ASUS f/w with openwrt merlin may resolve this ... going to try it- larrycable

I have the same config AX88J and CM3000 and I get EXACTLY the same failiures and logs as you do ... I also checked the modem logs and found nothing of note therein- larrycable
