Home Assistant in VirtualBox VLAN setup

My goal is to setup Home Assistant virtualbox machine to sit on the Asus WRT Merlin 2.4ghz Guest network (I'm assuming the default VID is 501) to isolate from my main network. I could access the Home Assistant frontend page on the VLAN (192.168.101.2:8123) but not from the main network...
