RT-N66U 380.69 -> Tools -> Other Settings -> Miniupnp secure mode setting issue

I did confirm that the router re-boot does indeed complete the upnp re-configuration, so it does work as designed.

RT-N66U 380.69 -> Tools -> Other Settings -> Miniupnp secure mode setting issue

Good point. I didn't reboot the router after the change was made. I'll re-run the test with re-boot this time. I'll report back later this evening.

RT-N66U 380.69 -> Tools -> Other Settings -> Miniupnp secure mode setting issue

I have seen this in previous versions of the firmware as well, but in this particular case: RT-N66U 380.69 -> Tools -> Other Settings -> Miniupnp: Enable secure mode (default: Yes) setting is stuck on yes for good, no matter what's set in the Admin UI. The UI seems to be reflecting the change...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 380.59 is now available

First off all, thank you for all the hard work. I have update my RN-N66U from 380.58 -> 380.59 few hours ago. I started seeing issues with clients not showing up in the client list. I saw the number of connected clients but no luck trying to get them in the drop-downs throughout the interface...

Workaround for broken IEEE OUI db search

I would agree with this one, if it's feasible. Currently the size of the oui.txt file pulled off of the ieee site is 3.14 MB

Workaround for broken IEEE OUI db search

How about this: http://www.macvendorlookup.com/api Would this even be feasible? They return XML, JSON, CSV and PIPE delimited responses. Example: http://www.macvendorlookup.com/api/v2/002258/pipe Though I wonder about their business model... I clicked on his ads to help him ;)

Workaround for broken IEEE OUI db search

I think it's on their end: GET https://services13.ieee.org/RST/standards-ra-web/rest/assignments/download/?registry=MA-L&format=html&text=002258 500 (Internal Server Error) <- Chrome Dev Tools Console I see 500 internal server error on some attempts; while it works from time to time it does...

Workaround for broken IEEE OUI db search

I'm replying to myself, but wth... If you the query: http://standards.ieee.org/cgi-bin/ouisearch?##-##-## without the dashes in the MAC number sections, it appears to work better, but in some cases the results don't show up at all. Example that works...

Workaround for broken IEEE OUI db search

First of all. Thanks go to Merlin for all your hard work with the custom firmware for ASUS routers. In my case I use RT-N66U version; it works like a charm, except for one thing - the equipment manufacturer look-up. I did some research and I know that this is an external issue with the way the...

ASUS RT-N66U DoSed by simply running nmap scan.

ASUS RT-N66U Firmware Version 3.0.0.4.374.979. I ran a simple nmap TCP all ports scan of my IP address (nmap -p 1-65535 -T4 -A -v ***.***.***.*** ) from my VPS host. After approx. 15 minutes of running the scan the router locked up. That was with "Enable DoS protection" feature turned...

    New Router.......same Youtube download issues

Give it a shot; worked for me. If I see my kids are on the net I still get the occasional slowdown and choking while watching youtube, but otherwise it got better. Kill the QoS by flipping the switch to off, or at least kill the QoS rules related to file download: http (80), https (443), don't...
