    ASUS RT-AX58U - devices kicked-off wifi over 60 times a day

I suspected as much. Thank you. If the VPN is all closed and shut down, could there still be activities or malware on the router? Or is hard reset the only way?

    ASUS RT-AX58U - devices kicked-off wifi over 60 times a day

Thank you so much for the assessment. I've deactivated cloud services. The VPN client is not intentional. The /tmp/ppp/vpnc5_options.pptp prompt returns a "permission denied". I've turned off all VPN services, but there's a "user1" populating the settings. I removed that user some days ago, now...

    ASUS RT-AX58U - devices kicked-off wifi over 60 times a day

For some reason the PPTP VPN service automatically turns on occasionally. I've turned it off some days, but just now noticed it had turned on again (?).

    ASUS RT-AX58U - devices kicked-off wifi over 60 times a day

My connected devices gets kicked-off from wifi over 60 times a day. As an example of the occurring issue, my Macbook stops getting internet, the wifi icon starts...

Possible to have one drive formatted as two partitions, mounting as two network drives (for backups)?

My Asus AX58U router supports HFS+ (Mac OS Extended). I'm already performing Time Machine backups from my Mac to the 2 TB network drive (HFS-formatted and connected to my router.). As a test I'll try formatting my existing 2 TB drive into HFS+ with two partitions using my Mac disc tool - and...

Possible to have one drive formatted as two partitions, mounting as two network drives (for backups)?

Thanks, NAS becomes too complex and expensive for me I think. As for question 1: I can't find any instructions for how this works. I just format the drive with two partitions and plug in to router ? I'm on Mac so HFS format I guess?
