I know there's a blanket option to enable ICMP responses on the WAN but is there an easy way to allow WAN ICMP responses from specific IP addresses rather than responding to all incoming pings? If not, is iptables the next option?

Not quite solved. About once a week, WOL fails to work. I noticed that if I power up the machine to the Windows login, then power it down in the fail state. I can then send the WOL packet and the machine wakes up. Would this indicate an ARP issue?

Problem solved. Somehow, both my Android and iPad clients had disabled the broadcast packet option. Re-enabled and its working again.

Did some more experimentation. Tried sending the WOL packet directly from the ASUS N66U to the PC. It woke up immediately. The same packet sent over WiFi (Android and iPad) won't wake up the PC. I can send WOL packets over WiFi to other PCs on the network and they wake up fine. Any...

Use of WebRTC by apps is increasing so I'd like to setup QOS for it in Merlin on my N66U. Problem is, I don't think it has a predefined port (or port range). Anyone have QOS configured for WebRTC on their ASUS device? If not, any ideas on how it could be setup?

ok, then the binary won't help. Still scratching my head as to why WOL packets were reliable w/the DIR-655 but unpredictable with the N66U.
