Can only cast to Chromecast from clients connected to same access point in network

Hi everyone, I currently have my Chromecast connected to my RT-N66U which is running as a wireless repeater. My primary router is an RT-AC68U - both devices are running Asuswrt-Merlin. Unfortunately, in regards to the Chromecast device - any clients (like my desktop PC), that are connected to...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 376.48 is out

I was just having this issue, and it's due to 348 firmware having to revert back to ASUS code for NAT Loopback, which seems to be much more finicky than Merlin's. A workaround that worked for me was disabling HW Acceleration, which you can do by going to...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 376.48 is out

No good :( Formatted jffs and rebooted the router, and same behavior. xxx.asuscomm.com:<port> isn't connecting for me on my network - have to use localhost or local IP. Specifically, I tried with Ventrilo and RDP with no luck - but it works outside of my network.

Hey everyone. I was having some issues with DDNS after the upgrade, but resetting to factory and re-registering the DDNS fixed the issue. However, I find that if I try to access any internal resource using the DDNS name it fails. Example: I'm on my network, try to hit xxx.asuscomm.com:1234...

    QoS & Comcast "Powerboost"

I've used the tool you linked before - it is useful to make sure one is getting the speeds advertised. I've noticed that when I have QoS enabled, the download speed still functions about the same, showing the differences between Powerboost and sustained speeds. But upload speeds appear to be...

    QoS & Comcast "Powerboost"

Hi all! Just picked up the ASUS RT-N66U Router. I wanted to enable QoS on this guy, but it's wanting to know my upload and download speeds. I'm figuring that I should probably set it to my provisioned speeds (25Mbps/4Mbps) but given that "Powerboost" temporarily increases these speeds, should...
