    Afraid ddns issues

    Afraid is a bit tricky, meaning that the username you need to use in AsusMErlin is not the email you use to login into afraid.org, but the userID you find under "preferences". May this be the culprit?

    Hi guys and girls, a couple of releases ago I changed some setting because my router was erroneously reporting the loss of WAN connectivity. Now I would like to bring them back to defaults I'd avoid to reset everything (again) so, I'd be grateful if someone could post me the default settings...

    Router DNS settings with Pi-Hole and Unbound

    The inbuilt test always gives low values for me. Using a client wired to the router I can get the expected speed (1 Gbps). I don't know what could be wrong with your setup, but simply don't trust that test.

    I have the same router and can hit 1 Gbps pretty easily (by cable) using the router as the DHCP server. I'm not an expert, but I doubt that DHCP takes away significant resources.
