Wifi issues, where to start diagnosing

*update All seems to be good. No issues with disconnects. I'll assume it was due to DFS channels. Thanks for the help!

Wifi issues, where to start diagnosing

I have it disabled, but will stick to manual channel for now. What channels specifically are DFS?

Wifi issues, where to start diagnosing

Got the wifi disconnected message only once last night on the TV and that was after powering on, so I assume it was from it coming out of standby (which I am ok with), at least it didn't keep popping. PI is still up this AM. I'll try re-enabling diversion today and see if anything changes (I...

Wifi issues, where to start diagnosing

*Update I was making the changes and rebooted the router. Then rebooted the devices with issues. I was unable to get the Pi to connect. I noticed the channel on wifi changed to 136. I changed it to 36 and it was able to connect. I wonder if the auto channel change was preventing it from...

Wifi issues, where to start diagnosing

The Pi is set to static on the router side via dhcp list.

Wifi issues, where to start diagnosing

Would the DHCP lease matter if assigned a static IP?

Wifi issues, where to start diagnosing

I'll give that a shot today and see if it improves things. The Pi yes, TV no.

Wifi issues, where to start diagnosing

I have a 2 devices that are giving me headaches and not sure where to start diagnosing. I have a ax86u, running 3004.388.4, and diversion w/pixelserv (fresh install about a month ago). The 2 devices are a tv and a Raspberry Pi 4, both on 5ghz network (the 2.4 is separate ssid). The tv constantly...

    adblocking recommendation

I have a pretty basic diversion install w/ Med list, type 65 enabled and using cloudflare DOT DNS, but Ionly get 54%. So I am thinking something is odd on my end.

    adblocking recommendation

I guess I am trying to find out why my setup doesn't seem to be too effective, and wondering if switching to something else will fix, or maybe should start diagnosing the current.

    adblocking recommendation

Is there a test you recommend I try to see how effective things are?

    adblocking recommendation

What does everyone here prefer for adblocking? Diversion, or adguard? I have used diversion for a while, but there seem to be lots of ads coming through and checking this test (https://d3ward.github.io/toolz/adblock.html) shows I only block about 50%. I'd like to start getting more stuff blocked.

    Help setting up aimesh

Thanks for all the help. I finally decided to wipe both and re-install merlin on them via recovery. I just got them back up and got the error about "not close enough, or someone else is trying to set them up". I was doing it wirelessly, so I'll try wired tomorrow. At least some progress though.
