    Reissue OPENVPN certificates

Thanks for the detailed reply, it was really informative. I was wondering how can I force the router to regenerate new certificates in order to use SHA256 without having to install EasyRSA. SHould I remove the cuurent certificates?

    Reissue OPENVPN certificates

Hi. Is there a (safe)way to reissue certificates for my VPN server on a RT-AC86U, on Merlin 386.5_2, with a more secure signature? After I upgraded from Ubuntu 20.04 to 22.04 I have an Openssl error saying that my certificate is too weak and I am not able to connect to my VPN server from CLI or...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.5 is now available

Updated my RT-AC86U from 386.5_1 to 386.5_2 via Wi-Fi, 2 walls from the router without unmounting my flashdrive and it all went well with the upgrading process.

    Unbound [Release] v3.22

I am using Unbound v3.22 in FW 386.1. It is working flawlessly with cache hit percentage above 70% at all times but my log is getting spammed with this: Feb 8 15:57:00 RT-AC86U-7A60 (unbound_log.sh): 1705 Processed 0 reply_domains... Feb 8 15:57:00 RT-AC86U-7A60 (unbound_log.sh): 1705...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 is now available

Upgraded from 386.1_Beta_5 to 386.1 in my AC86U with USB containing scripts(permy signature) mounted. It barely took 1 minute to flash and regain internet connection with all networks working(2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and Guest). Instantly got access to my WebGUI, temperature around 77 °C and all devices...

    RT-AC86U/68U question

My friend, I have an AC86U for over 1 year now and I've been using Merlin FW for about 10 months. The power of use and stability of this router has been unmatched in my personal experience. Also this forum has helped me a lot on configuring my connection to a well known and fine tuned state. My...

Release [Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.19 beta is now available

My AC86U was kicking out my clients in 5 GHz band frequently so I performed a factory reset with initialize settings ticked without uploading a config backup or JFFS backup. Working on a M&M config to see how the network is going to behave on 384.19 Beta2. Will report later.

    x3mRouting x3mRouting ~ Selective Routing for Asuswrt-Merlin Firmware

I'm seeing a "min upd" on x3mRouting but no option 7 to update from. Currently on 384.19 Beta2 and with option 3 installed.

Looking at an AC86U. Are there still issues with the 2.4Ghz band?

I have a RT-AC86U manufactured in 2019 and it has no issues. Quite the opposite, actually. Over 10 devices continuously connected and even a Smartv on 2.4 Ghz band being able to stream 4k videos 2 brick walls from my router. Best router I've ever had.
