[DSL-AC68U] AsusWrt Merlin builds for DSL routers

It can be overclocked as have been over clocking mine for a couple of years. Has to be done via SSH. Have instructions at https://www.lurch.uk/2018/03/overclocking-asus-dsl-ac68u-or-rt-ac68u/ which should help you. I have since put the first 2 lines excluding the reboot command in the...

    Additional Device Icons

Got a Broadlink RM Mini device a few weeks ago to control a few IR devices using Homebridge and Siri. So have created an Icon for Broadlink devices, did spot one on the first page, but seems to be an icon within an icon. This I think looks a bit cleaner.

[DSL-AC68U] AsusWrt Merlin builds for DSL routers

Done a dirty upgrade from the 384.12 stable to the 384.14 stable, it appears to work but have the warning "Your router is running low on free NVRAM, which might affect its stability. Review long parameter lists (like DHCP reservations), or consider doing a factory default reset and reconfiguring."

[DSL-AC68U] AsusWrt Merlin builds for DSL routers

Nope, just straight update using the upload of the firmware in the interface and it worked, and has continued to use all the settings that had in the HGG version.

Updated to this Firmware from HGGs version from last year directly without any issues. Very impressed so far be good to see how things develop.

Firmware 3.0.0.4.382_50302 on DSL-AC68U causes unstable VDSL connection

Thanks Grisu, I've joined and posted there. Had used the ASUS vip-forum a couple of times in the past, not sure why ASUS thought it'd be good idea to close the forum, presume partly down to time and effort to keep it secure and sort it out for GDPR due to the timing of it closing.

Firmware 3.0.0.4.382_50302 on DSL-AC68U causes unstable VDSL connection

I know that majority don't have DSL versions of the router, but thought would post as from trying to deal with ASUS they not seem bothered. My VDSL connection has been stable ever since got the DSL-AC68U in 2015, however soon as upgraded to 3.0.0.4.382_50302 within 10 minutes it began losing...

It doesn’t show up often. Usually notice it appear as connected with if my phone has been turned off for a while, or if I’ve forgot to put my watch on and gone out and took my phone with me. Think if it can’t connect to your phone via BT it tries finding it via Wi-Fi.

    Additional Device Icons

Created a few icons to match the default theme. Suspect that the Kodi and Playstation style may already exist. 2 HomePod icons as couldn't decide which I liked best.
