Looking for feedback: Anyone considering AiCloud important to them?

There was a YT video of a guy few years ago that installed latest version of Windows XP and then just connected it to the internet and waited. virus after virus after virus. So in the same line of thoughts - win xp is very secure when kept offline. Why people need to upgrade to win 7, 10, 11...

Looking for feedback: Anyone considering AiCloud important to them?

And this should point you in the right direction - removing those features from your firmware. Plain and simple. It’s not a popular feature. There are at least 2 simple alternatives for people who want to achieve the same result - setting up VPN and continuing to use Merlin or moving to...

Geolocalized Apps on LG Smart TV

I’m not sure what kind of apps this user is intending to use, but if it’s streaming apps /since the device is a TV/ smart dns services are not going to do the trick. Tried it and most do not work. Max is not supported and it doesn’t work on Nord smart dns, same I think was the case with Hulu...

ANNOUNCEMENT: Asuswrt-Merlin support underway for 3 Wifi 7 routers

I don’t know how you guys justify those prices. But for me this insane cost for a consumer level HOME ROUTER even high end is not something I would spend money on. I was kinda okay with some models for 300-400-500 USD but anything above that no matter WiFi 7 or custom VLANs does not make any...

    Announcement: 3006 progress report - it's a go

Just for additional clarification …. VLANs in the new branch are going to be available only for the routers that already support them /meaning the PRO models/ and not the rest? Or this is something that will be determined on a later stage depending on what models get this branch…

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.7 beta is now available

I would like for somebody to expand on this new implementation. Did the testing and when Prevent client auto DoH is set to YES indeed in the syslog you can see the following: Apr 22 17:58:21 dnsmasq[21191]: using only locally-known addresses for mask-h2.icloud.com Apr 22 17:58:21...
