    Asuswrt-Merlin 380.57 is now available

    I performed the reset by using the "Restore" option under Administration > Restore/Save/Upload Setting (tab) > Factory default - Restore. I did not restore a backed up config. I thought about it but decided against it. Was this the right approach?

    I went ahead and did a factory reset on the router after installing the 380.57 firmware and my problem went from bad to worse. Now the 5Ghz network isn't even broadcasting. Can this be resolved? How? Thanks, MJ

    I did not! I've updated the firmware several times in the last year or so without issue so I didn't think twice about applying this update. When I clicked the link in my email to open this thread I saw the very first entry on page 1 So I'll do that. Seems strange to perform a factory reset...

    I installed the 380.57 firmware to my RT-AC68U a couple of weeks back and lost my 5GHz wifi networks. They are available to connect to but either a device can't connect to it or a connection is made but there is no Internet service. Is this a known issue? How do I go about resolving it...
