    Release [Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374 LTS release 49E4

I use version 49E4. I don't use any add-ons. I'm using DoT, DHCP reservations, DNS filtering, Parental Controls, https and that's all. Now uptime of the router is 2 days 6 hours. As I understand, everything looks normal yet: mark@RT-AC66U-1900:/tmp/home/root# free total used...

    Release [Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374 LTS release 49E4

Hi, I also experience unexpected reboots on my RT-AC66U with this version of firmware. Here is the part of system log, when the last reboot happened: EDIT: Didn't notice that there is newer version (50E8) of the firmware. I will update my router and monitor it for the issue. Thank you...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

I upgraded my RT-AC66U a few days ago from 39E3 to 42D5 and it is running smoothly, no issues detected, even without resetting the router after upgrade. I'm using a small set of features: DoT, DHCP, DNSFilter, Parental Control. Great work! Thank you John! And thanks for the Community for good...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

I have remembered that additionally I was disabled UPnP on WAN > Internet Connection page. Maybe it is not related at all, but give it a try.

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Earlier, when NAT acceleration was enabled, I had far fewer than 9 days of uptime (~9 days ago I manually rebooted the router), I had from 0 to max 3 days of uptime. This workaround (disabling NAT acceleration) helped in my situation.

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

After about two weeks of observation I can state that disabling NAT Acceleration (aka Hardware Acceleration) fixes my RT-AC66U unexpected crashes caused by Android 8/9+ devices. It is rather workaround than a fix, but this is better than nothing. A good explanation about NAT Acceleration feature...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Thanks for suggestion. I will try this on my AC66U with 39E3. As I understand this function is called "NAT Acceleration" on the LAN > Switch Control tab. I wonder what it changes and how it impacts the performance of router. UPDATE: Already found the answers to my questions about "NAT...

Possibly I have found what caused my Wi-Fi router's unexpected reboots. Probably it was my Philips Android TV. In TV Guide it was set to retrieve TV channels information from the Internet (using Wi-Fi), not from broadcasters of TV channels via TV cable. I think this somehow "overloaded" my...

Do you use manual MAC <-> IP address assignment on DHCP server for every device in your network? If not, try to configure it. After configuring assignment for all devices, reboot router to start using configured MAC <-> IP assignments (reservations). I had not the same problem as your, but my...

Bad block table found at page 65408, version 0x01

I just have accidentally noticed exactly the same messages on my RT-AC66U with Firmware 374.43_39E3j9527 ([Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (V39E3)): Jan 1 02:00:14 kernel: NAND device: Manufacturer ID: 0x92, Chip ID: 0xf1 (Zentel NAND 128MiB 3,3V 8-bit) Jan 1 02:00:14 kernel: Bad...

    Asus RT-AC66U (not B1) v3.0.0.4.382.50470

I have checked today and the uptime of mine RT-AC66U is 4 days 23 hours. So, it seems that the router is working good. Almost everything is configured by default. I use manual address assignment (DHCP reservation) functionality only.

    Asus RT-AC66U (not B1) v3.0.0.4.382.50470

I flashed my RT-AC66U with 3.0.0.4.382_50470 yesterday, did a factory default reset. Today I have noticed that my RT-AC66U has rebooted on its own. I'll observe further and inform if the issue will occurring repeatedly.
