I have decided for now to just leave it with the three to see how it works out. I just got everything set up with roaming asstaint on and Smart Connect on, I think I need to play with the settings by tweaking them.
I am still trying to really figure this whole thing out! But from what I can...
I did go ahead and change out the AC1900p to the AC3100, so now my system setup is as follows.
AC5300 as main router
AC3100 as a node
AC3100 as a node
Only thing turned on is the roaming asstiant because the AC1900p did not support Smart connect, so my question would be should I have Smart...
I already have the two 3100 units just only have one in place at this point.
I didn't want to have go buy anything else, but if it's the best then I need to rethink this setup![emoji3]
Thank you very much for your time and help![emoji3]

In your opinion would you rather have a system with the following
AC5300
AC1900p
AC3100
Or
AC5300
AC3100
AC3100
Thank you very much for all of your help on this![emoji3]

I would also like to put a node in my master bedroom and which one would you suggest to put there? It will not get much traffic at all on that room

Question in order to see each nodes settings do I need to plug a laptop into each node to be able to see it settings like the 5300? Or how can I see each node setting by logging into the routers admin page?
Is there a way to see each routers settings?
If so how do I see them please
Thank you...
So I really need to make sure both are on in my system for best seamless proformce to start with.
All of my router and nodes support the smart connect from everything I have and seen
AC5300
AC1900p
AC3100
I just want the best seem less smoothest system I can have with Aimesh. I know it's...
I never did, I have never even touch this setting.
My bad for not checking this setting as I have been adding my nodes to my Aimesh system. So without this on my devices do not connect to the other modes through out my house as I am moving around my house from room to room?
So the items I see...
Question please
Do I need to have smart connect turned on in my Aimesh system setup? I do not have it turned on at this point.
Thank you

So what you are saying is that I really should get a different node if I want everything to be the same SSID correct?
Thank you very much

And they all will still be on the same SSID network name without any issues correct?
Thank you very much for everyone's help and input on this![emoji3]

Question when using Ethernet Backhaul do all nodes have to be wired to the main or can you Ethernet Backhaul off of a node?
I have a AC5300 as my main and AC1900p in the office hardwired off of the 5300 and I also have a AC3100 wired off the AC 5300 in my family room, but thinking of adding one...
Great Post!
I have a Ac5300 as my main router and two nodes, Ac1900p and a Ac3100. They are hardwired to the main router, I have two on the first floor and the 1900p on the second floor, what’s a good way to determine what’s a good handoff for roaming assistance to take over smoothly?
Any help...
