Asus rt-n56u drops incoming PPTP VPN connections randomly

Hi folks, I just replaced a dir-655 with an asus rt-n56u. I have a windows server 2008r2 vpn server behind it and I can make a pptp connection to it just fine. It will then randomly drop the connection anywhere from 15-60 seconds after it's made... Any thoughts? I am on the latest firmware...
