Release ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.386.45987

For those of you that like your wired AC68U AiMesh node to transfer over LAN at full ~1 Gbps speed, this release is to be avoided just like every release since 3.0.0.4.386.43129: RT-AC68U as AiMesh node cuts half LAN speed RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.386.43129 | Comment #50 RT-AC68U...

RT-AC68U as AiMesh node cuts half LAN speed

Yes, I reported the same problem here: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/rt-ac68u-firmware-version-3-0-0-4-386-43129.72638/post-705234 (and credit to @master_o_trunks who reported it well before me). This started with firmware version 3.0.0.4.386.43129. I switched to Merlin 386.3 and my node...

    Release RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.386.43129

    Release RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.386.43129

I just noticed the same thing happening to me on my AiMesh node running 3.0.0.4.386_43129. I have gigabit internet service. speedtest.net reports 925Mbps when I run ethernet from PC to AiMesh "primary" device: Modem -> pfSense router -> RT-AC68U (AiMesh Router in AP mode) -> PC speedtest.net...

    Asus RT-AC68U v3.0.0.4.384.20942 2018/05/21

Ah, so I'm not the only one using an AC68U as a media bridge and having trouble! I have only one client connected to eth2 and have to restart the media bridge every one-to-two days to re-establish connectivity with the primary wireless AP (another AC68U). This has been true since I started using...
