I'm currently running an AC68U with the latest Merlin firmware. I just ordered another AC68U and plan to use as AiMesh node, what is best way to set it up.
1) Install the latest Merlin on the new AC68U and then set it up as AiMesh.
2) Reinstall stock firmware on the old AC68U (the main router)...
I bought a new RT-AC66U-B1 to set up as an AiMesh node, I did the setup without any problem. My main router RT-AC68U saw the AC66U-B1 but couldn't connect to it. I ended up returning the new router.

Pi-hole is almost maintenance free, I mean "almost" where you can hunt for good block files. My Pi-hole sits far away from my router in the basement "sever room". Like I said before, AiMesh isn't really needed but why not? I don't want to throw away a good and old router.
Did anyone have a chance to compare both?

I have this problem for the last few days, I have tried everything except replacing the USB thumb drive.
Edit: I spoke too soon. It worked after re-installed Diversion 5 minutes ago.
