I had the same problem with my RT-AC86U. Got tired of waiting, so I did a reset to defaults with the buttons on the unit. When I got the initial setup screen, I reloaded my saved configuration file and everything was normal after that.

Likewise - another satisfied RT-AC88U user here running 380.66_2 with zero problems.

WPS switched on after loading 380.66 on my RT-AC88U as well. One nice thing I noted is the radio temperatures are displaying properly now, instead of just saying "Disabled".

Donation made. I've flipped back and forth between stock and Merlin's firmware many times, and even though my network configuration is pretty simple, it's become apparent that Merlin's firmware has a number of really handy features for me, so I'm sticking with Merlin.

Turns out mine is formatted exFAT. That must be my problem, as Merlin above mentioned that exFat is not supported. I've got a 32 GB Patriot Supersonic (also USB 3.0) that's formatted FAT32 - I might give that a try instead.

Looks like it was the "infected device prevention and blocking" that was causing the communications problem with the thermostat. I turned that off, but now it seems that one of the other two settings is preventing access to Dropbox. I think I'll turn them all off and rely on software security...
