It is working now. It turned out to be that specific site (I thought it was more than one site) I visit often, had some firewall updated and it did create issues.
Has been running for two weeks.
Yes, same problem with iPhone.
I do have PiHole adblocker BUT it always has been running and I even disabled to see if it would fix the problem, it did not.
I just moved and first time got Fiber. I had cable internet before. I did not want to change all the passwords on the devices so I kept all my settings in the router.
It has been working fine until yesterday, some sites and some images on those sites, does not load. It has the image broken...
I just did factory default reset. Let’s see what happens. Thanks for trying to help.
P.S. My speed increased by 50MB too. I don’t know why but I won’t complain.
I am using AC-68U. The latest firmware, 386.12_6
This problem started to exist after the firmware 386.12_2 and changing some settings which I don't recall.
I should maybe reset to factory default. I was just thinking someone could tell me why this happens by looking at the logs.
P.S. One thing...
I used to have daily reboots, thought maybe that was causing issues (but in the older versions, I had no issue), then I dropped to every other day reboots, still the problem exists.
Can someone see why this happens? I will remove the auto reboots but I highly doubt, it will solve the problem. I...
I disabled reboot this morning. Let’s see what happens. I always had daily reboots and never had an issue. What’s the bad thing about havind daily reboots? Just curious.
AC68U here. Although I have daily automatic reboots every morning at 4:40AM like I always had, this latest update make the Wifi unreachable every morning when we get up. I have to manually reboot the AC68U. I guess I should go back. The only thing I added after the new update was FlexQOS. That’s it.
Sorry. Yes, cable internet. Motorola SB8200
Power cyle didn’t work. Reset seems to fixed it but still too early to say. I will see when I go back home.
I have done the gui reset, etc. Nothing worked. I finally did a modem reset before calling the ISP support. So far so good. No idea why it happened but fingers crossed.
The previous log line was at 5:14AM so no previous log around 5:19/18.
I decided to calll my ISP but everyone is sleeping in the house 😅 glad woke up for bathroom to experience the problem first hand:)
As I typed finishing the above post, I lost connection again at 5:35AM
