    I will try this, it seems that wireless works ok, but soon as I plug ethernet in it goes haywire. :/ I left it unplugged all night and then plugged it in in the morning and still no luck :/

    Yesterday at 8PM there was a huge lightening strike, the router still powers up but the internet does not work. I can't access 192.168.1.1 either. The lights turn on and off and never stop? I tried factory reset the router but it didn't really help. Any suggestions on what I should do next...

    does this version terminate who ever is on the parental control list? the firmware from september didn't, if you left a connection open. For example FaceTime or Skype they would not be disconnected until I kicked them off manually then they would not be able to connect back

    Well I just changed the ports ethernet cable to the 4th port instead of the 2nd and it's now getting full speed..... How strange. Anyways atleast everything is running at full speed now. I just tried the 2nd port on a different computer and it seems to be running fine... I have no idea what...

    Yeah, my wireless speeds are perfect. Plugged straight into router are perfect too. The problem is that when the router> switch > pc it becomes capped at 20~25mbps (with qos off) 40-45mbps (with qos on) lol.

    Just tried your steps, but still seems to be capped at 20mbps down, through the switch. I tried turning on QoS and strangely its going about 40mbps now...? Turned QoS back off and it goes back to 20mbps. Does Asus n66u have a manage/unmanaged option?

    I just tested parental control, it worked perfect. Kicked the desired computer/phone off at a specific time.
