I have an RT-N66U and the latest MERLIN runs circles around the latest ASUS build. The ASUS build was a bit buggy and would sometimes crash when I was changing things on the wireless settings. SO far the MERLIN is rock solid and even seems to run smoother overall. Thanks!! ;)
Well you know that guy Murphy. I stopped and picked up a new SB6141 and tonight the SB6120 is going great. It actually has a faster speediest today than it has had in days. I am starting to think my cable provider is messing around with its network....

Well I installed the latest MERLIN on my RT-N66U and it still dropped off.
Now I had to restart both the SB 6120 Modem and the 66U to get my internet back at about 7:50pm last night. I have an auto timer that reboots the router every morning at 0500.

+1 changing the SSID names for the 2.4 and 5. I have the Main (2.4) and then name the other the same with _5ghz at the end. That solved quite a few weird things.

I went ahead and installed the latest Merlin last night. Will report if this fixes the issue. Already I like how snappy it is compared to the latest ASUS firmware.
