But if you are already using a VPN can't you just send the packet to the broadcast ip 192.168.51.255 for example? For example, from my mobile connected to the wifi i simply send the packet to the adress 192.168.x.255:9 to the specific mac adrress and it works. Haven't tested it using a vpn, with...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.2 is now available for select models

Just checked my arp table now and: A bunch of incomplete entries, i don't recall seeing this behaviour before.... but i'm not sure if it happened before. Perhaps it's because now i have some devices that don't have a static ip. Gonna revert it to 388.1, just in case.

The only thing i'm using that its not initially in the config's are static dhcp entries and custom DNS configuration with DNS secure, dns over TLS and the trend protection. I just tested again 388.2 and about 6 minutes after shuting down the device the arp entrie goes invalid, it goes like...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 388.2 Beta is now available for Wifi 6 models

I think i figured it out, in the process of updates to the firmware and reseting the router i think i forgot to disable the option Spanning-Tree Protocol, still not sure if its completly solved, but i made a quick test and it looks that with this disable the static entry stays configured. Feel...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 388.2 Beta is now available for Wifi 6 models

Thank you for your reply, lets hope that the problem doesn't occur on the final build..... Otherwise i will have to use another method to use WOL from an external source like a vpn, but i was really trying to avoid that....

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 388.2 Beta is now available for Wifi 6 models

Hello all, I have a RT-AX58U and since i installed the version 388.2 beta 1, the static values in arp table get deleted after i turn off the device in question. I step up a static arp entry using the command's below, editing the services-start and rebooting the device, but a few moments after...
