Is there potential risk that the devices have lingering malware in the devices, or can be considered insecure after being infected with malware with 100% certainty? Or is there potential malicious code may be lingering in these devices / the network?

Yep SNB is a GREAT community. But Asus has really harmed my trust in their product after a router malware attack.

Im hoping for something stable, fast and reliable to cover the entire home, wouldnt the enterprise have further reach to cover the home in AP mode? I already spent $1000s on asus gear thats only been problematic for years. Would Omada be suitable? Do they have any 6E gear for the additional...

Using a U6 Enterprise In-Wall centred in the basement provide a coverage in AP mode, replacing the standard ISP wifi 6 modem and asus devices.

Is going with a Ubiquiti a better option over Asus at this point? Wifi 7 pro wall AP x2 without a controller, and only a POE switch - will this be a superior solution vs asus?

Crazy to be even dealing with this, AiCloud malware is wild to be bricking routers. Im not holding my breath they'll do anything but i'll report back.

It was behaving like this before any reset though, when i updated to the latest asus frimware all of these issues appeared. Was forced to reset previously due to this. Why did this occur? Was it malware?

Macs are zeroed for the lan network map area.

Both, i did a factory reset last night as the wifi was 100-200 range for all bands, when it came back everything is screwed. Reflash did nothing. The wifi isnt showing, it appears for a short while, besides 1 band 5_1 sometimes will show 1 bar, and 2.4ghz cannot be connected to, and it shows...

Yep its running on it right now. 2.4 is showing 1 - 14 channels 5.0 36 - 165 No wifi still. I reset, re-flashed and reinitialize, restored i worked on this for 7hrs until 5am last night.
