    I just installed this firmware after running Merlin in hopes of fixing the problem. After I flashed the router with the firmware I held the reset button in for about 5secs.

    I have noticed a slow down when surfing the web on my ipad. I do speedtest and have noticed slow speeds of about 2-8mbps. My normal is 40mbps. I thought it might be my ipad but I did a speed test on my wife's with the same results. Is there a known issue with wifi speeds? Thanks.

    Ok so I upgraded to Merlin .354 29 beta 1. And now I can see the 5Ghz band. It does come and go though.

    Hey mike, I am running the latest stable firmware from asus which is the .270. I also notice that my 2.4ghz band sometimes drops down one bar.

    The 5Ghz band doesn't to show up at all on any of my devices. My devices definitely support the 5Ghz band. This is my second AC66U router and on my last one it was showing up. Is there something I'm missing. I have the router on top of my PC in my office. Will upgrading to Merlin firmware...
