Release ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24542

For whatever reason, after 4 days, my ET12 mesh nodes mysteriously restarted while I was reconfiguring some Aqara devices just now. Could be a fluke.....

Updated to my ET12 mesh network (router+3nodes). UI seems a lot snappier and 6G/5G range seems improved. Everything good so far with 2hours and counting. PS. 24 Hours now. Dirty upgraded. Still working without any issues. Happy so far!

Release ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388.23013

Yup. I have had ONE device (Xiaomi Desk Lamp) on 2.4GHz keeps dropping off with this firmware. And I also have experienced the very occasional DNS server unresponsive issue (which happens once every blue moon.....) Otherwise, this is still the most stable version of firmware so far.

Release ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388.23013

I also experience this and I thought it was a fluke on my unit. It only happens to the same particular node.

Release ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388.23013

First issue for me. DNS on the router stopped responding today (after > 19 days uptime). Rebooting solved the issue. Will see if it reoccurs.

Release ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388.23013

Well, most stable on my ET12 so far. 13 days and counting with no issue or UI slow down whatsoever. And 13 days ago I manually rebooted the router just to refresh to a more advantageous IP range with my ISP, not because of any issue with the system.....

Release ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388.23013

Been couple of days since I dirty updated to 23013 from 21739. The setup has been very stable with no issues. There's one hick up on one of the nodes in that devices connected to 6G got an IP address but no internet connection. Rebooted that node and has been fine for 12 hours and going.....

Any other issues with this beta?

Beta ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 Firmware version 9.0.0.6.102.4856

Yup. Feels like most stable firmwares are just extended betas for Asus. Having said that, 21739 for ET12 is probably what I can consider stable release..... It does seem like Asus is pouring most resources into this 4856 beta for wide model release in the near future though. For instance...

Beta ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 Firmware version 9.0.0.6.102.4856

Ditto. 22127 is nothing but problems for me as well and I am on WIRED backhaul...... Also on 21739 at the moment and very keen to try this new beta if it is more stable (in terms of aiMesh and wireless connections and UI stable)........

Beta ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 Firmware version 9.0.0.6.102.4856

I have a bit more complicated setup with 2 10G netgear unmanaged switch in between the ET12 router and 3 other ET12 mesh nodes. I find that on 22127, AiMesh can bonky across 2 switches (nodes are getting dropped with RED LED) while the wired clients (to the 2nd switch and the ET12s in Aimesh...

    RT-AC86U / DDNS IPv6 not working / 3.0.0.4.386_51255

I don't think Asus implemented IPv6 DDNS unless you are using asuscomm.com. I had to do a CNAME on my domain to redirect to a name I setup with asuscomm.com to get around this issue.
