[Release] FreshJR Adaptive QOS (Improvements / Custom Rules / and Inner workings)

Make sure you update the Signature Version under Administration -> Firmware update, will get the latest QoS definitions from Trend Micro. I haven't tested specifically with BF1 but it's pretty good at classifying PC games that I have tested.

    WAN/WLAN slower than LAN/WLAN on RT-AC68U

Wish I had that problem :P Good discussion of tuning WAN-LAN here: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/rt-ac68u-getting-1gbps-wan-lan-throughput.29471/ Make sure you have at least CTF enabled.

Wi-Fi Roaming issues with Apple iPhone

Tuning the transmit strengths of all the APs might be your best bet, maybe setup band steering on the Ubiquiti's if they support it (or just go 5 GHz only if the coverage is good enough). Great writeup here on tuning them...

I just want to de-prioritize Usenet in QoS.

Reset the QoS stats, start up a usenet DL and then watch the stats, should be easy to see which category it goes into, then drop that to the bottom of priority. Or yeah, read up on JR's goodness and categorize it however you want.

    Is this a router-side problem or a NAS-side problem?

Have you tried the url with you external ip address rather than the DDNS name? That will let you know if it's a DDNS issue or port issue.

    QoS setup for home network

IMHO put your AT&T device into bridged mode and bypass it's routing entirely. https://wiki.sonic.net/wiki/Pace_5268AC#Bridged_mode DSL reports speedtest has a nice buffer bloat measure built into it.

Assistance needed with Hardware Acceleration on RT-AC68 and Merlin

Do you have Traffic Analyzer -> Statistic option turned on? That will kill FA as QoS does.

    Daylight saving time

It's working fine for me on an AC68U running 384.3, can set whatever I want in the drop downs. Using Chrome. I just upgraded from 380.69_2 and did not clear the NVRAM/reset settings. # nvram show | grep -i time_zone time_zone_dst=1 time_zone_x=PST8DST,M3.2.0/2,M11.1.0/2...

    RT-AC68U - 380.69_2 - 5Ghz Range Issue

In my experience it rarely picks the optimal channel and any time it decides to switch channels you'll have a wifi drop. Also when in a crowded wifi environment you have a higher chance of it switching often. IMHO the best thing to do is grab a wifi analyzer app for your phone, see what channels...

    RT-AC68U - 380.69_2 - 5Ghz Range Issue

Try changing the 5 Ghz channel, even if it's just to temporarily change to another channel then back to what you currently use. I've had similar issues in the past and changing the channel seemed to kick it in the butt to work properly. And if you are using Auto channel, don't IMHO.

    Signature update failed AC68U

Was the fix to just stop supporting older devices? Hope not but it appears almost intentionally broken for the older 380 build update script.

    Suricata 4 on Asuswrt-Merlin

It's trying to turn off tcp offload settings there I believe. Throw -vvv in your suricata run line and you'll get additional error output. Looks like you can then see what it's attempting to turn off and try it manually, see here: https://redmine.openinfosecfoundation.org/issues/1976

    Suricata 4 on Asuswrt-Merlin

No experience with Suricata but I'd say to check that the permissions on the rules files is correct, if the Suricata process doesn't have permissions to read the files it would error like they aren't there. Running 'chmod 755 /opt/etc/suricata/rules/http-events.rules' (same for the rest of the...

    Signature update failed AC68U

Yeah the sig update zip file (not really a zip) provided by Asus is now messed up it seems, it only contains one value that is invalid: RT-AC87U#9.999 https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/LiveUpdate/Release/Wireless_SQ/sig_update.zip Don't think Asus fixed it properly. Firmware reports sig up to...
