    So is that any better/worse than the Netgear Prosafe? I can live with slower speeds. I've survived with 4.5 Mb until now! I just don't want to get something that is obsolete before I open the box. We don't have major speed requirements and no kids at home to worry about nanny controls.

    Thanks for all the comments. Excuse my ignorance. My husband handles all this stuff but he's slammed at work right now so I'm trying to narrow down our options. I think you're saying the firewall is the limiting factor and a consumer grade product is not going to give the full line speed. So...
