I did not factory reset. Settings do not get reset on the upgrade, so didn't have to change anything. I am keeping factory reset as the last option, and wanted to see if there are some settings that I could try changing to get the 2.4 to behave. thank you.

I am not 100% sure which one I had before, but I tried 3 or 4 previous ones, and it did not help.
