    Yes, this is also what I see on my RT-N16. Pages simply do not load 1/3 of the time on Firefox and I have to refresh over and over to get it back to normal. Very strange.

    Did it end up working for you? Make sure you do a factory reset after you downgrade to make sure the problem is gone.

    I had issues on my RT-N16, also on Comcast, where the router would just slow to a crawl, even with file transfers over LAN. Flashing .43 and doing a factory restore fixed it completely.

    Poor Android tablet wifi performance.

    Turn off all the power-saving options in Wifi > Advanced on your Android device. It makes Wifi a mess, especially with some routers. If that doesn't work, maybe you need to buy a tablet with a better Wifi chipset.

    You should disable whatever wifi power management setting is on your Android device, and you should restore to factory default and set up your router again if you have problems after an upgrade.

    RT-N16 AP mode?

    ...isn't that what Merlin is based on? Merlin even even said that Beta 29 is the first release where the RT-N16 is fully supported since he finally got one of his own to test with.

    Wait, I'm confused. I thought you said the WPS method and "reset to default" are the same thing but it sounds like you are saying "reset to default" from the administration page does not work and something else actually does a better job of clearing out the router?
