    Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.10 Beta is now available

    Updated from Alpha 2 and have been running the Beta for several days without any issues. I really like that the functionality and logs work similar to the 3006 branch now. Especially the DNSDirector "Router" mode changes.

    This could be a problem with your WPA settings. If you have older clients, they might have a problem with the mixed WPA2/3 setting? It could be they only support an older version of WPA2. Try to setup a separate network under 'Network' that only runs WPA2 and see if that solves the problem...

    Updated to alpha2. Experiencing the same issue others have reported — the Apply button in the Wireless > General menu doesn't respond. Really like the reworked Connections page in the System Log — much appreciated!

    I don't have any of your problems with my BE96U. I have an ethernet backhaul connection (set to Auto and Preferred Uplink also set to Auto) to two ZenWiFi BT10 units. The connection stays solid on ethernet without dropping out and trying to reconnect through WiFi. The LED's for both radios...

    After 24 hours with the updated WiFi driver, the connection has been very stable. The intermittent issues I experienced with version 3006.102.4 are no longer present. I haven’t noticed any difference between the 3006.102.4_beta and this newer driver, but so far, so good.

    Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.4 is now available

    He can swap them out for different versions. Beta3 came with newer drivers from Feb. 2025. And the release was issued with an older driver from Oct. 2024, see post #36.

    Finally someone else that experiences issues with the older WiFi driver in the final release. I thought I was the only one😅. The newer driver in beta3 are much more reliable. I simply reverted back to beta3 and have stayed on it since. No issues so far. Hopefully we'll see a point update that...

    I tried once more to upgrade to the final release and still experience the problem of dropped clients with the older WiFi driver in the final release. The only message I see in the system log is this one which is timed around the disconnect: May 12 07:41:26 kernel: WLC_SCB_DEAUTHORIZE error...
