After 4 hours from the update, the system seems to be more stable, but the router still only uses channel 36 (I have it set to 160 MHZ channels) on the 5GHZ frequency and I have a maximum disk read of 40 MB\s instead of 80MB\s
Thanks for the information.
It seems I have a problem with channels. When I change the channel to something other than 36, it doesn't connect to the 5GHz network, and in the "Wireless" tab, the Current Control Channel is: 0.
Only channel 36 works.

I've noticed a significant drop in transfer speeds when copying data from a drive connected to a USB 3.0 router. It's strange that there are days when everything is fine (transfer rates are around 80-90 MB/s), but there are also days when the transfer rate doesn't exceed 40 MB/s (a straight line...
Are you using this router as a small NAS server with attached drives?
I use many features on this router, including AICLOUD 2.0, VPN, OpenNAT, etc.
I think one of these options is causing these problems.

Hi @RMerlin
Can you tell me what ASUS has changed in the 3.0.0.6.102 software .... and why they changed this software compared to the previous 3.0.0.4.388 software ... which in my opinion was already well developed and did not have as many bugs as the current one, I do not understand this...
Hello.

I have a connection via WireGuard VPN but I can't connect to the disk connected to the router

I do this with every update but it doesn't help, I use most of the options in Asus routers, including the VPN server, connected USB drives, ASUS AICloud, etc.
I have ASUS routers and I have a question:
Why is the ASUS software version 3.0.0.6.102_ ....... so unstable (has a lot of bugs) compared to the much better and stable version 3.0.0.4.388_ ......
I have RT-BE86U - it's the same. It's a software fault, I restored factory settings and it helped, now I have 80MB/S for a while but after a minute it drops to 40MB\S and stays that way.
In the previous RT-AX86U it worked properly all the time 80MB/S
