    Asus ROG GS-BE12000 Router

Hi I am assuming this is a rather new unit back from October of 2025 and was wondering if anyone else has this model. It is only $299 at Newegg at present [$399 usually] and just wanted to know if there was any noticeable issues that users encountered. It is replacing my ROG GT-AX11000 router...

On a serious note, I am experimenting with OPALS. Optical Payload Advancing LASER Science - NASA uses it to send data to/from the ISS. Kinda like a wicked burst transmitter. We are doing that at FermiLAB at present. The bandwidth potential using a fixed LASER via P2P is absolutely insane...The...

Yo Yeah I agree with ya. The 2.4 is hopeless and I have decided to MOVE! LOL.. na. Us ARS operators have access to frequencies up to and over 275-GHz. I may consider creating a GsAs FET pre-amp & power amp for selected frequencies ;) https://www.mwtinc.com/products/gaas-mesfet-chips/ Tim...

Like many, here is my site survey of my RF environment. Any gud ideas on how to walk all over this additional RF magnet? Unfortunately I only have an Asus GT-AX11000 which of course doesn't support wifi 7, thus I am currently limited to AC/AX. As an Amateur Radio operator I got my hands on a...

Need help w/ moving/hosting my domain - Questions on cname type entries.

Hey I again wote that incorrectly. I meant to say as you did. Let CF host the DNS for my server and on my end use those 1.1.1.1 & 0.1 revolvers for my own equipment instead of using my ISP's as I have noticed they have a lower ping than my ISP'S do. I could also use this Linux box...

Need help w/ moving/hosting my domain - Questions on cname type entries.

Hi Tnx for the info. I see you recommended Cloudflare versus the GoDaddy nameservers. I was going to use either Metronets DNS or 3rd party. Sinse you suggested Cloudflare I will use those versus my ISP's. Additionally I am using ExpressVPN on everything behind the server as a force of habit...

Need help w/ moving/hosting my domain - Questions on cname type entries.

Hey Justin Tnx for the info. I can see I have the same type of thing. I think i have the hang of it just by comparing what's already there and changing only what needs to be changed. Tnx Tim

Need help w/ moving/hosting my domain - Questions on cname type entries.

I can't see my original post so I rewrote it. I'm just looking to host my own domain [futurenet-systems.us] via Zentynal or ClearOS [Apache/etc.] and just needed a few pointers on entering the GoDaddy records info for the www/email & ssh servers I want to host along w/ the bulleted list info...

WTB: Either a Wi-Fi 7 router w/ one or more 2 or 2.5Gbit LAN ports OR an access point w/ same

Oh I'm sorry. I was referring to my own bandwidth package from Metronet and what I wanted to get via the LAN. I understand it's 10/100/1000/2500/10000 etc. I probably should have made that more clear. My bad. Tim

AX11000 & obtaining 2Gbit throughput via LAN PORTS - See below.

Agreed. I just came up with an idea that I used prior to moving to where I lived. Yes..I just upgraded all NIC'S to 5Gbit - I got a killer deal from Uncle Sam [AKA FermiLab / work] - from some upgraded equipment. With Metronet Static IP: INET FTTH------->-PON-------->CAT 8 to Zentynal Linux...

GUI Window Zooming Issue - Minor

I noticed this under/in the Wireless--->Professional options page. All other pages are fine. Accessing the AX-11000 GUI via an Android based phone [S23 Ultra] is simple however the Professional page under the Wireless option cannot be zoomed into as by using the usual method [2 fingers]. It...
