formula on TR-398 issue 2 Spatial Consistency Test

Hi everyone! We are working with the TR-398 issue 2 and we aren't sure about this comment on the Spatial Consistency Test: "Note: The variation at each specific attenuation is calculated as the difference between the minimum throughput value and the average throughput value, divided by the...

How important is synchronization in TR-398 Long Term Stability testing

In the TR-398 says that ping is to count the number of ping failures, so I guess it's ok if both stations are pinging the AP all the time, even if the pings don't start at the same time. However, I think with the traffic is different because I think if we are sending traffic from 2 stations we...

How important is synchronization in TR-398 Long Term Stability testing

Thank you! So in the test Long Term Stability of the TR-398 where two stations are sending traffic and pinging the AP in a loop manner, is the one-way delay something relevant or is it check to check connection losses so it doesn't matter the delay introduced after each iteration?

How important is synchronization in TR-398 Long Term Stability testing

Actually what I mean is sending a ping and traffic from each station periodically during the test. This is done in a loop manner throughout the tests so is it needed that traffic and pings start at the same time from the different stations? For example, the duration of each ping is not exactly...

How important is synchronization in TR-398 Long Term Stability testing

There are some procedures to measure long term stability behavior in routers such us sending traffic or doing pings from a couple of stations, for example, every 2 minutes. These tests last about 24 hours, so I was wondering how relevant could be the delay that occurs for example in the ping...

    802.11ax USB adapter

This is really useful, thank you very much! I'll try the adapter I've got with that configuration! Anyway, for the future, the adapter you mentioned looks good. I'm using an Ubuntu system, so I'll save the idea :)

    802.11ax USB adapter

Thank you!! It looks good! I want to check the HE PPDU, the BSRP TF , the BSS color information in the Beacon, the Broadcast TWT Support, TWT Request and Response...so I think better to use a 802.11ax hardware for sniffing that, right? I guess that card you suggested should work provided that...

    802.11ax USB adapter

I'd like to capture 802.11ax packets using wireshark in an Ubuntu system, so I guess I need a USB adapter that I can set up in monitor mode and supports 802.11ax. Do you guys know any? Thanks!
