    Wi-Fi Direct

All fixed! Even better 8 devices all at once playing 4k no interrupt/buffering. True test to make sure. Got over 100 Mbps now too which is what helped so much. Way over that.

    Wi-Fi Direct

The weird part when downloading the video files I get well over 100 Mbps + Same network protocol too and mobile video apps I am using. The limitation of 70 Mbps to 80 Mbps max is only when streaming the video files. I do not get why. I did see 90 Mbps for a split second once while streaming but...

    Wi-Fi Direct

It helped but not enough. :( Guess you could say it is barely enough sometimes but not fully fixed. Oh well. At least it is better than 30 to 35 Mbps. Plus Access Point does not work without a active internet connection so could not use that at all. It is fine though found a work around...

Someone said they were getting 90 Mbps from Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter. I would even take 90 but doubt that will happen. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/wifi-adapter-as-mobile-hotspot-is-slow-how-to/164c17ba-7cb6-4dfb-8d7e-019873585702

    Wi-Fi Direct

See previous post just now it is not really the program more so Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter limitation :( Does not make sense why it is limited like that? Any other way to get 5 Ghz with wlan hotspot or something like it ?

    Wi-Fi Direct

Found this. Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter Seems like a limitation with Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter :( That is stupid. Still I am not getting anywhere near 144 Mbps and I am right next to even basically 1 inch from the laptop. Guess that is not realistic to get. It should...

    Wi-Fi Direct

Yeah but what does not make sense when I had both mobile devices, iPad and iPhone, connected to it it went up to 100 Mbps to 120 Mbps. or very close. I know that is because both devices were using it but still. Would it help any replacing the actual wifi card in the laptop instead ? Doubtful...

Not sure will check. If it is 2.4GHz WLAN hotspot I am not sure if you can change it.

    Wi-Fi Direct

https://mypublicwifi.com/publicwifi/en/index.html I am using this program for it with just sharing (no internet) but what I can't figure out is why it is speed limited it seems. No I do not have any speed limits on. It barely goes over 30 to 50 Mbps if I am lucky. Ever now and then a little...

WiFi wireless vs cellular data 4g lte or 5g

Will WiFi wireless always be superior in this aspect? As long as you’re not really far away from the main routers or ap? Mostly talking about a stable connection and being able to do personal video streaming (Plex or Emby not YouTube or Netflix) without any buffering at all. It seems like to...

Is now the time to go to 5 Gbps or 10 Gbps home networking?

Has it been for a while ? If so what do I need ? Most important question is cat 5e cable fast enough for up to 10 Gbps or only 2 Gbps to 5 Gbps ?

    2.5 Gbps, 5 Gbps, and 10 Gbps

Ok thanks. Side note you know 2.5 Gbps + is not standard when even Best Buy does not sell any switches or anything at that speed at all. Not that I like Best Buy. Hopefully in another year or 2 prices come down even more. Still it may be worth a try to see if I get any advantage, even if...
