    [ 386.13 alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

I was going to upgrade to 386.12_6 but took the opportunity to try the alpha out on my AC66 B1. This was an upgrade from 386.12_4 . Have just reached 24 hours uptime. Speedtest, latency (with Adaptive QoS using the FlexQos mod) normal. Wifi 2.4 and 5ghz both performing as expected, no obvious...

Enabling NAT Acceleration (CTF) breaks Port Forwarding? (RT-AC68U w/ 386.12_4)

Port forwarding is for incoming connections on defined port. Servers wait/listen for incoming connections. Applications that run as servers may also establish outgoing connections, which may use a different port (which would use NAT) or use the forwarded port. You can't port forward and use NAT...

Enabling NAT Acceleration (CTF) breaks Port Forwarding? (RT-AC68U w/ 386.12_4)

NAT is not used (rather than acceleration disabled) for forwarded ports as there is no need to map external to internal IP/ports (like with NAT). Fowarded ports have little CPU overhead (in the context of SOHO routers), not worth accelerating. Should be no noticeable performance loss using...

Which is the "proper" network setup

If possible, plug both the switch and the AP directly into the Merlin device.

    Printer not commicating with router

If that is an internal IP address and your routers firewall affects it, you have a very broken router configuration as this traffic should be routed internally without going through the firewall, this could be as well as a broken firewall configuration in Windows... Not automatically true...

    The rmerlin donation thread.

I've just donated again, I figure the long term support is saving me from having to buy a new router, so I can still afford to donate a little and still save money. Cheers, Nick

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

I worded that incorrectly. What I meant is 192.168.0.10 not addressable from 192.168.50.0/24 - either in your VPN configuration, VPN software, router or clients there is something using 192.168.0.10 192.168.0.4 addresses incorrectly.

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

You can't have a zero in an IP address, there is a misconfiguration or bug somewhere.

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

As FQ Codel also trys to minimise connection latency, the potential gains from HSFC will not be significant - there are tests that show with FQ Codel with HTB vs FQ Codel with HFSC perform very similar. As HSFC latency curves need to be tuned for each specific connection (if you set it to an...

    Asus RT-AC86U bricked

You might find you need to do another factory reset (power off by wall socket for a few minutes first). Then go straight into recovery mode, don't let your router start up normally.

    [Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.11 is available

Upgraded yesterday. Noticed reported CPU (reported by Network Map screen) is about half previously when running speedtests over wifi. SIRQ is staying in mid 20% according to top (75MB down connection) , unfortunately never took note of what it was before. CTF is on (as it was before upgrading)...

Hi, IPV6 is the offender (not much we can do about it), see attached, first time I have observed Xbox downloads/updates happening over ipv6.

If you first go into the network map and click on view list and wait for the view to refresh, the bandwidth monitor will also be updated and usually works fine when assigning.
