It says manual reboot required if the timer runs out. Just wait a little bit longer and the page will load the login if/when the connection to the router comes back. It depend on how you connect (wifi, cable, wifi dfs scan until wifi available etc) and how fast your connection to the router...
The clients # steadily increasing has been fixed (yay!). I have the same LED-situation. On at reboot (I have it off in gui) with the internet led staying red. Turning on, off, on from GUI and the leds works fine again (red -> white).
Yeah. Me (and some other ppl) got this since 3006.102.5 (see my post history, like this one).
As I understand it something has to be fixed by Asus (?).
It will start to do it again after some time, count up and then drop down to normal values. Then it starts counting up again.
I have 55 days...
"Good" to see more people reporting the client # problem. Good in the sense its probably nothing wrong in my network.
The fw has been very stable on the latest betas, just that you can't trust the connected client count. But it will run fine even if it tells you that you have 230-250+ connected...
Guess its like having something (my server, Unraid) on the network running docker with containers or other devices connecting from the same server but with their own ips and mac's. Beta 2 was stable for me. On beta 3 now. Thanks.
Looks like the same problem I (and another person) posted about earlier in this thread. Haven’t seen any response to it yet.
I hope it can be fixed :)
I haven’t noticed any negative effects from it, apart from the client count being useless.
This has suddenly stopped happening when checking again now. So that's... good I guess.
Haven't tried fresh boot yet, close to 8h uptime and things works.
Edit: Just kidding! It's doing it again. No reboot.
This is still happening in beta2.
52 devices connected via my server (0 with .4). And rising.
100+ "clients" in total... and rising (stable at 20-30 with .4).
I don't see these "clients" anywhere. Just the numbers increasing until they drop and start counting up again.
Maybe just visual but it...
Is this my server (Unraid/Docker/VM) doing something strange or has something changed between .4 stable and this beta affecting this?
Both numbers keep "counting" up every 1-2 sec but drops down to sane numbers after it counts up to 200-250 "clients".
Sane is like Clients: 30-40 and the "x...
Haven't noticed the aura coming back on but I keep all my leds off. In 3004 I had leds on so I could follow the boot process by the leds (and see if the router has rebooted for any reason as the leds would be on). I turned the leds off by using the physical button but on in the ui. Now it seems...
Noticed the same thing. I would like to have LEDs enabled and Aura off.
I turn the leds off with the button on the router, doing that I can see if the router has rebooted for any reason as the leds will be on. :)
Also I see 0 clients connected to my guest network, IoT etc even with clients...
