Voxel Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.97SF

Are there any plans to add WPA3 to the R7800 in the future? OpenWRT seems to support it on this model and so does the Synology router which is based on similar hardware

Admin interface not accessible from other subnets & private address

Ahh looks like I misunderstood your first reply. I changed the LAN IP and not the rule contents. This did automatically change the rule to 5 DROP all -- !128.0.0.0/1 anywhere Which should cover the 172 range, so not sure why it is not accessible. Then I dropped that rule via iptables -D...

Admin interface not accessible from other subnets & private address

Thanks that works. Is there anyway I can also allow access from 172.16.x.x IPs? I set the LAN IP to 192.168.1.3/1 (128.0.0.0) and can access from 192.168.x.x, but not the 172.16.x.x range

Admin interface not accessible from other subnets & private address

I have my R7800 (running V1.0.2.91.1SF) set up as an AP (in router mode) and I am having trouble accessing the router from other private networks. The R7800 is currently in router mode and has the VLAN setup as such- Port 4 - Netgear Bridge Port 1 - 2.4Ghz Port 2 - 5Ghz Port 3, WAN -...

Voxel Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.90SF

This firmware appears to have a binary called "aws-iot" located in /usr/sbin/ Any idea what that does. It was running on my router, but gives no output when running it manually. The binary seems to be sending data to an AWS EC2 endpoint

Categorizing messages in Netgear Log Emails

I made an updated version of this script, which summarizes the log lines, so that it is even easier to read. The main changes are - DHCP IP assignment is summarized and shows a max of 5 assignments per IP/MAC combo - DHCP IP Address being assigned to more than 1 MAC, it will be flagged as...

Voxel Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.83SF

Trying to troubleshoot this weird issue I am seeing on my R7800. Just upgraded to 1.0.2.83SF to see if that fixes anything but it is the same as the prev version - 1.0.2.82.2SF I was trying to block some IPs from Internet and noticed that my older rules to redirect DNS, didn't seem to be...

    Kamoj Kamoj add-on V5 for Netgear R7800 X4S and R9000 X10

Just wanted to report a few bugs I had with the Kamoj addon on my R7800. Not sure if these have been reported before 1) QoS Automatically Enables itself after every reboot 2) Was having this weird issue where Access Control was unable to unblock a device. I would goto Edit, change Block to...

Categorizing messages in Netgear Log Emails

I have an R7800 and was wondering if it would be possible to modify the script that sends out the log messages via email. It currently just dumps them like [Time synchronized with NTP server] Tuesday, January 05, 2021 22:48:44 [DHCP IP: x.x.x.x] to MAC address x:x:x:x:x:x, Tuesday, January 05...

    Kamoj Kamoj add-on V5 for Netgear R7800 X4S and R9000 X10

Just run a "find" command to look for profiles. For the .ovpn extension, it'd be something like find / -name "*ovpn"

I have an R7800 running Voxel FW. Tried out the add-on yesterday and it looks really cool. Wanted to try the new v5.3. Can I please get a link to this beta, for the R7800?
