    Compatible Hardware for Client Bridge?

I've decided to give up on the RT-AC66U for now. My experiences with unstable bridging across 802.11n (and a few other accounts of similar experience) mean that this hardware/firmware combination isn't right for me just now. I considered buying a 2nd RT-AC66U to at least remove any...

Newbie RT-AC66U Owner: Got a lemon?

Unfortunately I've given up on the Router and returned it via RMA. I'm sure one day it will be a good piece of kit but currently, IMHO, the combination of hardware and firmware just isn't stable enough to find a home in my network. I'll be watching out for any revisions of hardware or...

    Compatible Hardware for Client Bridge?

I am thinking of swapping out my Buffalo WHR-G300N for an Asus RT-N16... What do you think? Is that combination more likely to work? (I don't think I can justify buying another RT-AC66U after the issues I've run into).

    Compatible Hardware for Client Bridge?

In another thread I am having problems getting my RT-AC66U and Atheros based Buffalo WHR-G300N routers to play nicely when the secondary (non-RT-AC66U) router is in Client Bridge Routed mode (i.e. a single network spanning the wireless connection)... Do people have similar configurations that...

Newbie RT-AC66U Owner: Got a lemon?

It seems that at least some of my issues have been solved by updating to RT-AC66U_3.0.0.4_372.31_0 and doing a complete reset however the wireless bridging does not work. For clarity... I have the RT-AC66U (192.168.1.1) connected via PPPoE to by BT Modem and a few directly connected devices...

Newbie RT-AC66U Owner: Got a lemon?

I thought I would try and experiment overnight; I have turned off the Buffalo router upstairs so there is no bridging and the PCs on that segment are now isolated. (I won't be getting any mail now as my mail server is on that segment :o( The Buffalo was 192.168.1.2; my old technicolor router...

Newbie RT-AC66U Owner: Got a lemon?

Hi Got my RT-AC66U yesterday. Connected to PlusNet DSL PPPoE easily; set the Wireless up easily... everything worked well and then after about 30 mins... PC's connection (it was wired) drops out and router has effectively freezed... nothing on any LAN port and Wireless has disappeared...

    RT-AC66U DNS Serving Static IPs?

Thanks. That is really great. Unfortunately I'm having hardware issues... think I might have got a lemon... if I can resolve those I will try to change FW.

    RT-AC66U DNS Serving Static IPs?

Hi I don't really know the jargon around the question I am asking so please excuse the wording. On my LAN (which is segmented across a wireless bridge) I have a number of servers which run services such as my mail service, a wiki, confluence, minecraft(!) etc. I would like clients on...
