Yay! Thanks, indeed I had to manually change protocol from TCP to UDP in my router's settings. Works now :) I was sure that protocol was loaded from ovpn file. Should've checked. Also great that Merlin supports ovpn 1.2 and encryption, those did not work with stock firmware.

All settings were downloaded from the server, in ovpn file. Not sure if protocol was there though

Thanks, what alternative do we have, or are there any plans on adding this or similar feature? If it's even worth it? To me being able to walk around the house without losing connection sounds useful. But I may be missing something. I have nothing but respect for RMerlin and other people...

Is there a list of the features missing from Merlin firmware? Like Mesh mentioned above sounds like something I would like to use, at least in a larger house+outside territory.
