[Official Beta] AiMesh beta firmware for RT-AC68U/RT-AC86U/RT-AC5300/RT-AC88U

Is RT-N16 too old to be of use if I wanted a 2.4 N mesh? I would really like to see this supported too, even if much later in the timeline. Is the HW on this thing too old?
