Is there a way to restart AIMesh without rebooting the router?

A BQ16 Hmm... That seemed to do something very interesting. The AIMesh UI page cleared out, then repopulated over the course of a few seconds. The Mesh node in front of me went from white to blue-blink, then back to white and now the page looks normal. So I think we have a winner!

Is there a way to restart AIMesh without rebooting the router?

Perfect example. All of these nodes and clients are pingable. 🤷‍♂️

Is there a way to restart AIMesh without rebooting the router?

Not sure how to find that out. In any event, this isn't something constant. Like, right now everything is working perfectly. I would posit that if the switches were doing something wrong, AIMesh would never work.

Is there a way to restart AIMesh without rebooting the router?

They are all dumb-as-rocks unmanaged switches.

Is there a way to restart AIMesh without rebooting the router?

I rebooted the main router and everything came back... for now... but I'd really, really like to be able to do something at the command line to get the main router to accept the nodes without having to reboot the entire thing. For the record, all of the nodes are connected via 10 GBE switches...

Is there a way to restart AIMesh without rebooting the router?

Restarting the node just makes it blink blue forever after it's done rebooting.

Is there a way to restart AIMesh without rebooting the router?

That's to reboot the node. I want to also restart the AIMesh process on the main router without rebooting it. Well, at the moment, all of the nodes are blinking blue and show as offline in the web UI. Restarting the nodes doesn't help. This is the third incidence of this _today_. I'd like to be...

Is there a way to restart AIMesh without rebooting the router?

Right. I know that. What about restarting the AIMesh process on the main router?

Is there a way to restart AIMesh without rebooting the router?

AIMesh has been just a continuing headache, but I just can't bring myself to permanently abandon it instead of just separate APs. Is there a way, when it's misbehaving, to log into the router with ssh (I've already enabled this) and restart whatever process is in charge of AIMesh? It'd be a lot...

Struggling with Asus ZenWiFi BE30000 aka 3 node BQ16 Pro bundle

I'm sort of new to the BQ16s, but I've got three of them in our house plus a BD5. AIMesh has been flaky as all get-out. The actual WiFi is fine, but what I've found is that the AIMesh page in the WebUI (and in the app) will often show nodes as offline when they are perfectly pingable and even...

I'm about to give up on the BQ16, Inconsistent WiFi speeds.

Here's the thing: any wall-wart made in the last 20 years is almost certainly a flyback topology supply. The design of a flyback supply is that you start by rectifying the incoming power to DC. Then you switch that HVDC at a very high frequency to power a relatively small transformer. On the...

    BE-98G - need help setting up a site-to-site VPN

I may have gotten past this... I have successfully moved the s2s VPN functionality to a pair of Raspberry PIs at each premises, so I should be able to just magically upgrade the router without having to care too much about this. The only negative thing I see at the moment is that when I try to...

    BE-98G - need help setting up a site-to-site VPN

This is a little complicated. I've got two houses and they've been linked with Synology routers using their site-to-site IPsec VPN. And that's been fine up to now except for two things: 1. Synology seems to be exiting the router business. They have no roadmap for multiple multi-gig port routers...
